Refund Policy

At VeryFirstTale, we take great care in curating our Indian souvenirs and packaging them with love. Every order is personally pre-checked for its quality and packaging while packing and also before dispatch.

As a small and growing business, we follow a Replacement Only Policy and do not offer refunds under any circumstances. All the information mentioned on the website is correct and showcases our product in its originality. 

Replacement Eligibility

We offer a Free Replacement Policy for your order within 2 days (48 hours) of product delivery only in the following cases:

  • You received a damaged product
  • You received a wrong product
  • The product has a manufacturing defect / or a visible fault
  • You received damaged products due to poor / damaged packaging / in transit damage
  • You received incorrect items / missing items

To be eligible for a replacement -

You must email us within 48 hours of receiving your order at hello@veryfirsttale.in

Please include your order ID, a brief description of the issue, and clear images / videos showing the problem

The product must be unopened, unused, and returned in its original condition and with its original packaging

Once we verify the issue, we will arrange for a free return pickup of the defective product within the next 2-3 working days. A return shipping label will be sent to your email address. We request you to pack the order and seal it in its original packaging / external packaging box, paste the shipping label and hand over the same to the pickup courier person. We will send clearer and precise information through email. Once we receive the defective product back, post verification, we shall dispatch the free replacement the next business day. 

Note: Replacement of the new product will only be processed / shipped / dispatched once we receive the returned defective product back to us in its specified condition.

Replacement Delivery Timeline - We would need at least 10 - 16 working days to fulfil your replacement request once it is approved from our side. However, we would try our best to fulfil your requirement as soon as possible.

Delivery Timeline - All our standard delivery orders have a delivery timeline of 3-9 business days.

Non-Eligibility for Replacement

We do not offer replacements in the following cases:

  • You changed your mind after delivery
  • You do not like the product based on personal preference, after delivery
  • You report an issue after 48 hours of delivery
  • We reserve the right to deny a replacement if the returned product is used, opened, or not in its original condition or stated condition as described while creating the replacement.

Visible Damage To Outer Package / Box At The Time of Delivery

At VeryFirstTale, we take utmost care to ensure your order reaches to you in its perfect condition. However, at the time of delivery, if you notice that the outer packaging of your order appears to be damaged, folded, or unsealed in any way — and you suspect that the contents inside may have been affected due to this — we kindly request you to -

Take clear photos and/or videos of the parcel as soon as you notice the issue, during the delivery.

Politely reject the delivery by informing the delivery agent that the package appears to have been damaged in transit.

Once you've done this and rejected the delivery, please reach out to us immediately via email at hello@veryfirsttale.in or our WhatsApp Support, sharing the photos/videos along with your order details.

We will immediately initiate a Shipment Damage Claim with our courier partner for a damaged or tampered shipment and open a formal investigation on your behalf. After verifying your concern, we’ll gladly dispatch a free replacement for your order within 3–4 business days, at no extra cost to you.

At VeryFirstTale, we put love and care into preparing each order, and as a small but growing business, every order truly matters to us. A lot of effort and time go into packing every order, and we pride ourselves on it.

We kindly request you to review your order carefully before confirming your purchase, as we do not support cancellations or refunds once an order has been placed.
